    Bayside

    Bayside is an upper middle class neighborhood located in Queens. It is ranked as one of the most expensive housing markets nationally, with a population density of 44,100 residents. Bayside was founded some time around the middle of the 18th century by settlers from Flushing who wanted to start a farming community.

    Whitestone/Beechhurst

    A favorite vacation area for the rich and famous during the silent movie era, Beechhurst is a neighborhood in the northeastern section of Queens. Home of the Beechhurst Towers hotel, a favorite of actress Mary Pickford as well as many Broadway and early movie stars, including the Marx Brothers and W.C. Fields.

    Flushing

    Flushing is a neighborhood in the borough of Queens, NYC. Flushing is considered the fourth largest central business district in New York City, specifically Downtown Flushing, even though most of the neighborhood is residential. It has a whopping population of 72,008 residents.

    Douglaston

    An upper middle class community in Queens, NY, Douglaston has a total population of nearly 18.000 residents. The early dutch settlers were attracted to the area due to its rich and fruitfull lands and abudant fishing.

    Little Neck

    An upper middle class neighborhood in Queens, NY, Little Neck is considered to be the most suburban looking area in NYC. Due to it's conveniently located harbor, it was quickly populated by european settlers and developed mainly into a large fishing community. It takes its name after the hard clams caught in the local waters, called "littleneck clams".

    Roslyn/Roslyn Heights

    Roslyn is a village located in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island with a population of approximately 2,770 according to the 2010 census. Initially it was called Hempstead Harbor, and was settled in the year 1633, but it eventually changed its name to Roslyn in 1844 to avoid postal confusion and differentiate the village from the other "hempsteads" all throughout Long Island. The Village of Roslyn is situated at the eastern edge of the Town of North Hempstead.
